Bosco,

From what I've read and heard:
He hasn't been arrested. He claims innocence of disclosing any classified material to anyone. People that know him don't believe it.

It's hard to separate facts from political rhetoric and media hype.

The only reality seems to be poor security on some technology that should have been closely guarded. As I get it, he was fired for improper handling of classified material and there's suspicions that some information may have gone to China, but not proof to charge him.

And I agree, it smells of McCarthyism and possibly racism. You make a very good point on Dr. Tsien.

I'm disturbed by the politically motivated anti-China rhetoric in DC over the last few weeks. It's almost like some are trying to instigate a new 'Cold War'. The rest of the world recognizes the progress China has made in recent years. This anti-China publicity will harm US-China relations (advantage Europe).

Off subject, but IMO the US is alienating the entire world with it's 'we are right and we don't care what you think' diplomacy.

JMHO,
Ron
