Analysts are POUNDING the table on Novellus. Merrill Lynch reiterates 1-1 rating (buy), says NVLS is cheapest stock relative to other semi equipment mfrs. Sets 12 month price target of 100 at only 30x FY00 earnings. Right now, NVLS is trading at 16x forward earnings of $3.34. Fundamentals strong; dismisses alleged problems b/c of increased float and expected decline in HDP-CVD market share.
