Brrr! Tech stocks look particularly wilting. Maybe when you get really close to something you've been dreaming of for a long time you realize you're not really ready for it? I get a big kick out of this decamillennial invertebracy!

I mean, everybody except Ralph Acampora knows this is the top; we're supposed to go to 10,000 and nobody really took seriously the question of what we'd do next.

In retrospect, pundits will claim some triggering event - maybe China will devalue, or MSFT warn of a weak quarter - but we know that we simply got to the place we wanted to go to and had nowhere else to turn <g>
