Plus James' earlier post about the McClellan Oscillator turning positive along with an improving (albeit slightly) A/D. One further thing that is important is that rates are back up to where banks can make some money on their loans ( borrow short and lend long). This must be why the financials are improving somewhat too. Looks like solid eco fundamentals, maybe good enough for businesses to test increased pricing and hopefully to shore up margins. Today must be reaction to ORCL and NSM and CAT?

Thanks for the post. Consumer should have some tax returns to spend too around the next couple of months.
