Miz Bear: I share your skepticism about PPOD, in which I have no interest one way or the other. However, if I'm not mistaken, there are a number of smallish mail-order companies that have been delivering frozen and perishable goods for many years. Two that come immediately to mind are Harry and Davids, which deals in fruit. And Omaha Steaks, which deals in, yes, steaks! (And other meats.) Both of those operations have been around for quite awhile, so there must be at least a little money in the biz. I can also think of several others, too. Regards, M2
