Jim,
That's why I mentioned Weinstein's book!Ending stage 1 he describes as follows!
Once price has plummeted and moved through stage 4 and is moving into the end of stage1. Keep in mind this is a longer term perspective but here's what he says!
"Volume will usually lesson-dry up-as a base forms"(Which I THINK we been doing if you look at the low volume we've been runnin')"But often Volume will begin to expand late in stage 1, even though prices remain little changed. This is an indication of dumping of the stock by disgruntled owners is no longer driving down the price. The buyers who are moving in to take the stock off their hands are not demanding any significant price concession. This is a favorable indication."
I can't confirm this is for sure what is going on but I know several moths ago Stan's service had PAIR listed as a Stage 1 A- meaning it is at a non event stage 1. I think the only thing that remains is a break above the 30 week Moving Average on the weekly charts as the MACD, RSI, and OBV on the weekly charts all are in good shape! Now! If the price will cooperate and move above the 30 week M/A? We might be in business for a confirm on a Stage 2 which, as Jim Morrison says in the song "Soft Parade" "This is the best part of the trip! The best part! I really like!"
Hope this helps!
Your buddy,
Jay
