i agree with the doc that speed is important, as this is a major complaint among chinese net users, thus xnet was looking ahead when they allied with punk to provide quicker access... as far as it being a distinct advantage,... this may also be true when you think of the hoards of users that will be coming online in china, and compare that to aol when they first went to unlimited user time....their servers were swamped off and on for months... ..speed and bandwidth help.. ...also, last september xnet spent a lot of money upgrading software and hardware, so improved server availability may have already been provided for...
