I have to admit that it is impractical to expect everyone to buy all their computer stuff online, especially the hardware. I know I prefer to see and touch the product first before decide I to buy it. Then, once I've seen what I want, I shop for the best price. Perhaps CPU's best bet would be to down size their retail space and use them more as showrooms than outlets. You walk in, find what you like, and then either order online from home or right from the store once you're sure you've got an exceptable price. Then, the product gets shipped to your home. It would cut down on shipping and handling costs required to provide each store with inventory because the products could all be shipped from one location. Staffing requirements would be reduced too. Of course, the retail space could also act as a drop off point for returns and service too. Just a thought.
