Yep, last night's NBR guest put out the "spring relapse" opinion and he could be right. Odd thing about these dips; almost all the froth is in the large caps, technology and internet, yet the Russell 2000 will probably take a hit along with the big stocks. VLNC does respond to the general market on occasion, it's a bit weak today as is the NASDAQ. As far as "leakage" is concerned, the evidence for that is unclear. After all, the stock went on a roller coaster in Nov-Dec responding to internet talk and SEC filings. What leaks? The biggest real news of late is the new patent for phosphate-metal electrodes. The market ho-hummed the announcement. Go figure! The large bid seems to indicate accumulation by somebody. Is this the "smart money" of legend? If there are any leaks, accumulation would probably take place against the backdrop of secrecy. Just a ramblin' man.
