When you consider Oracle, think about its future. Third Quarter is old news.
"In an unusual step, Oracle featured Lawrence J. Ellison, the company's co-founder, chairman and chief executive, in its conference call with securities analysts today. Passing quickly over the third-quarter financial results, Mr. Ellison concentrated on the company's Internet-enabled version of its core data base program, Oracle 81, as well as new software to automate sales and manage customer and vendor relationships………
"We think we are gong to grow faster than all of our secular competition in this pre-Y2K year," Mr. Ellison said…….
"We're nothing but net, 100 percent Internet," he said. "We're the only company, the only one where every single report, every interaction is through an Internet Browser."
