El- I bet that the call with Bear Stearns is neither a positive or negative sign...my understanding is that analysts hold these CC's with companies a couple times each quarter..and the (almost all) companies comply with the request...(in other words, if Bearns Stearns calls Mason requested a meeting, Mason is going to schedule an hour for them on a timely basis..within days....)... Hope I'm not repeating something that has already been said or that you knew...It just seemed like you were very concerned about this being a "manipulated opportunity" by Compaq to leak some news...
