Believe me, this was a strong day for MSFT. I think Q4 will be something special for the stock. Keep in mind we are in the typical tough-it-out period of Quarterly preannouncements (usually negative) and this trading pattern is to be expected. Remember, INTC has not yet preannounced, and if anything, MSFT guided us higher for their FY99 EPS. After the middle of next week, the techs should regain some leadership in the market, provided one of the bellweathers doesn't say something naughty!!! Teflon
