shoot, I missed that! I had not seen him for over 2 weeks on CNN!
But I got a better laugh watching Jimmy Rogers on Squawk Box
last Friday. For months he has been saying he is shorting dollar
against the yen and also US bonds and stocks (because according
to him Japanese will take all their money and go back to their own
country very soon!). At the time he started shorting dollar against
the Yen the value of dollar was 115 Yen. Today it is 124 So I am not
sure if he is still shorting or running from his investors! Anyway, last
Friday when the latest inflation indicator came out which showed
there is no inflation at this time you should have seen his face and
neck! I have noticed when he is scared the movements of his neck
toward back and forth increases as if his bowe tie is causing severe
pain in his neck! When asked where is all the inflation he had been
talking about he said (and I am quoting this): "The numbers
government is putting out are wrong and I am right!".!

I wished I had seen Metz on CNN. A great laugh is the best cure for
a hectic day! CNBC no longer talks to Metz as often as it used to! On
the other hand CNN hardly ever talks to Rogers anymore and is fully
devoted to Metz. I heard on the Street (and this is just a rumor!) that
CNN and CNBC wanted to make these 2 feel better after the day
DOW hit 7000+ and so they made a dinner reservation at one of the
most romantic exculsive restaurnats in New York and kind of made it
as a blind date for these 2 brilliant investment minds of the 20th
century to get together and wish each other a happy Valentine's day.
I also heard that Dr. Kevorkian joined them later at their request for
consultation. (No word of the consultation subject or results available
at this time!).
