With today's correction (somewhat of a euphemism), ORCL is just about flat for the year. Better than you can say for many stocks. This is just one quarter for a company that is dominating the corporate database market, and has a vision for opportunity on the internet. A couple of cents more and it'd be gliding past 40 around now. Would I like to have sold my shares yesterday at 36 and bought them back today at 28? You bet. But life don't always work that way.

As for NFF, my hope is that someone like MSDW will pump the stock up to $11 or $12, so I can blow town with a 50% gain. Then Mas can give all the profits to his family and friends in the form of salaries (like he's doing with MTZ). Although I hold shares of both NFF and MTZ, it is only in the interest of greed. I think management is poor and lacks direction, and I would stop just short of believing they may be corrupt.
