From today's SEC Digest: SINGLE TEN-DAY SUSPENSION OF OVER-THE-COUNTER TRADING IN THE SECURITIES OF IKAR MINERAL CORPORATION The Commission announced the single ten-day suspension of over-the-counter trading in the securities of Ikar Mineral Corporation (Ikar) for the period beginning at 9:30 a.m. eastern time on March 12, 1999, and terminating at 11:59 p.m. eastern time on March 25, 1999. The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of Ikar because of questions about the accuracy and adequacy of publicly disseminated information concerning, among other things, a purported agreement with European American Resources, Inc. (Epar), another mining company, for the sale of a portion of Ikar's mineral deposit in Tajikistan for over $39 million, to be paid in cash and stock of Epar. (Rel. 34-41163) sec.gov
