Kelton, this is indeed a case of a good product but a lousy business.

I like the toothpaste, but not the stock or the business plan.

First Fox started burning cash like crazy to market a product that would have sold much better if they had waited for regulatory approval to advertise and label with broader claims of efficacy than other fluoride toothpastes.

Then they lost their focus on remineralization by abandoning their previous plan (expanding into non-dentrifice products for applying their chemical concoction to the tooth enamel) by introducing instead another toothpaste, one that whitens.

The patent they really need is for a method of growing money on trees. That way they could keep their cash bonfire lit for a while longer. At this small a market cap they can't suck enough money out of the equity market to keep it going. The cash burn, in comparison to the market cap, is so high that this has all the makings of a toxic convertible meltdown.

Meanwhile, I'm with you on stocking up on the tubes.
