This part of your IR question I can answer: >Can they make any reference to earnings or are restricted to comment only >on day-to-day operations? CPQ can make a press release about earnings. To be specific, I asked about issuing warnings during the quiet period. I was told that CPQ can issue warnings about not expecting to meet estimates but that any warning has to be via a company news release. This is not to say we should expect to hear anything. To be completely honest, I seriously doubt if this kind of information is shared with people working in IR until the very last minute, literally just before the news is publicly released.
