How many lines of code to build a window in X? 4? 5? 1200?

Can you cut and paste graphics?

Can you customize windows with buttons and sliders as a user?

Can you build windows as a programmer with drag and drop tools?

Will different windows race each other and lock?

Can you use the same mouse buttons to move a slider up and down?

Is the programmer responsible for windowing conflicts? Must he run every other piece of code against his to find out?

Is the windowing tightly coupled with the OS? Why?

Can you send code fragments to trusted clients on remote systems on the intranet that they can run within their machine space? (Extensible programming..)

Is the display system on the screen what you get on the printer? Why not?

Can a user write display code with 3 weeks training?

Can a Mac or PC user or Vax VMS user recreate your display with portable code? Why not? Can he print it on his printer with the same code? Why not?

Can you cut and past sounds by sound icons?
