Hi Pallisard, yes, of course shorties try to talk stocks down, just like some longs talk it up. However, in this case, Wexler has made the reasonable challenge to justify the case for investment in VLNC. Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment, he made it sound a little like blackmail(free advice or I keep bugging you). I don't feel like taking up the gauntlet just now, better things to do. Just a few remarks in that direction.
Bill has read selected posts by FMK, as suggested by Larry, and thinks he has found some kind of hype machine. However, I doubt that Larry has a serious short position in this stock-too dangerous, even with stops.
You know, it's hard to believe we're even discussing this, but what can you do? This is a speculative stock and is subject to speculative attacks. Here, you have a company, whose major backers and board of directors are comprised of some of the most influential and respected businessmen in the country. They have large personal holdings in the company and have been steadily buying more shares. Ex officials of the company have been buying.
Their scientists have produced some really impressive results, cutting edge stuff.
Valence has more than 400 patents and I can only guess how many pending. Their grasp on this technology is exceptional. Their management team are some of the most impressive that I am aware of. I would compare them to bold innovators like Mike Armstrong of AT&T.
Valence's team has beat the odds by building an operational factory capable of producing a product with huge market potential. They are capable of filling orders now, and I expect this will occur shortly.
