I think the theory that "short-interest" is behind the SEC-suspension is highly unlikely...Any (supposed) "short" out there has been given plenty of opportunities to cover for the last several months...most likely at a profit. It's not like they have been getting squeezed of late...From my experiences, the SEC "halts" trading when a "suspect" company is flying-high with "unusual" volume. As we know, LEAH has been rather "dormant" of late...no "red flags" on that front...

Best case scenario is that the SEC was contacted by a disgruntled shareholder who raised "questions"...questions that will be put-to-bed by the company...

This "suspension" obviously coincides with some sort of "looking-into" (investigation) on behalf of the SEC...although the word "investigation" doesn't appear anywhere. I would've liked to have seen an official response from LEAH today with some sort of "we plan to fully cooperate with the SEC, and address any concerns they may have" kind of statement. That didn't happen...All we have is a Reuters-story that says Birte "didn't return calls..."

I trust LEAH's counsel is diligently working on this situation. BTW, anyone know who that firm is?
