My two cents on this has always been that there will be a huge demand for Globalstar, assuming decent marketing, in the so-called developed nations precisely because of the Swiss cheese nature of the cellular / PCS systems. As a former road warrior (not in the Mel Gibson sense) who used to commute between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (about a four hour drive) I know that if I were to be doing that again, I would have a GlobalStar phone in the car whatever the price was. It would be part of the cost of doing business. By the way, how much is a NZ$in US$?
