Macker, Macker, Macker!!!!!!! Trust me my friend, I did the same things you listed here. Only I went one more foolish step to borrow to invest and lost (my principle, my profits, plus went into debt) on all three. PURE FOOLISHNESS AND GREED. To be honest, I think we all were kicking ourselves for not selling the "Big 3" sooner. I took even more hits in selling SEEK too early, and a couple of others. I'm now in CYCH which has gone nowhere but down. I'll be paying off debt for about another year and have little left to my name.
But sometimes life has a way putting you back on the right track by teaching you the hardest and most valuable lessons by way of, the greatest teacher of all, "your own experience." However, I'm still thankful for my health, family, friends and new opportunities ahead!! I'm still VERY blessed to have what I do. I'll be "back in the game" before long. Hopefully a little wiser, a bit more cautious, and mostly and only by God's grace, a LOT less greedy.

I have to say though, I've gotten over kicking myself and I'm STILL thankful I got to meet everyone like you, Byron, Rocketman, Mr D., and Jane who literally made me laugh till I almost coughed my guts out over her scripts about Shell, LE, Coffee Pot & Forthright going out to lunch and waiting for the bus. Thanks Jane!!!!! There are so many others in our "Rocketeer" days and elsewhere on SI I have met with so little space to list them all here.
Hanging out with & meeting all of you in cyberspace is the one joy that can never be lost or taken away from me. I still treasure a lot of the posts despite what happened. It's so good to see many of the people coming back slowly but surely. As funny as this may seem, I really do feel part of a community in being here with the many people I've met.
Oh well . . . I thought I'd just take a moment out and give my two cents here. We all have learned some VERY valuable lessons which we soon will hopefully never forget!! Let us all get back up, maybe some a little slower than others, get back on our feet, and remember what things are really important in this crazy thing we call, "life."
