larry, re anticipated "powerful rally" in days before split... seems likely a lot of tech investors are gonna move $s from companies who are warning & disappointing to mr softee... before split but especially BEFORE earnings season. msft is the one tech co that gave a fair amount of positive guidance i backed out of dell & loaded up on msft. if & when dell cpq disappoint again it will be bloody...too many negative comments out there for me to risk it. msft has yet to show any weakness. move toward the net is comforting
