Been following this site for about six months or so, and decided to take the plunge. Excellent group here. Bought 2,000 shares of FN last Fall and Winter.

Found info on Golden Cycle Gold. Here's their website, although some or all information appears dated.

Travelling Man, your post #378 was outstanding. I only have two items to inquire further with you about. First, the VBN shares no longer offer a dividend, I think. Second, I think FN owns only about 37% of these class of shares, not 51%, although I did see that FN has a representative on the INCO board, as a result of this ownership. Perhaps they are playing an active role in moving negotiations forward with the development of the mine and smelter. I guess we'll all stay tuned...

Actually, that's how I found out about FN--through its initial purchase of VBN shares. I was a long suffering shareholder of that class of Inco shares. I felt that Voisey's Bay was a terrific long-term asset, and seeing how FN got their shares for a song, I thought I should look into this outfit.

The rest is history. I actually got a copy of Lassonde's book and read it. (Not that I understood it all, mind you; there's a lot I don't know about mining.) The more I researched FN, though, the more I liked it! I also looked into EN, but think it is more expensive than FN, for the value. But the bottom line is that these guys appear to know what they are doing, and have the assets to do it, too.

Thanks for letting me sound off. Hope I am able to contribute something meaningful to the excellent discussion you all have so ably carried on here for some time.

Fergie
