A message from one of the prisoners; This is the text of last email to Si Bob:
  Bob,
I have just gone over all my posts since yesterday afternoon. I cannot find anything that constitutes a violation. This leads me to believe that there are only 2 possibilities. Possibility 1. I do not have a firm grasp of what constitutes a violation of the terms of service. There is some interpretation of the rules that is beyond me. I have not threatened anyone (although Brian Connelly has threatened me with physical violence and remains active), I have not used racial slurs (although Invest Lady called me "white trash") I have not clogged the boards with spam or hype, I have simply responded to posts directed at me. If there is a problem with the amount of my posts, it is only because in addition to discussing stocks and trends with the people I respect (the squirrel thread and WR thread), I also answer the voluminous posts I receive elsewhere. Of late, every post I make on the Miller thread elicits 3 or 4 replies, some of which I ignore and others I answer.
I find it difficult to accept that Tokyo Joe and Daniel Miller can run their front running operations out of SI, actually breaking the law, and I cannot express myself without worrying about being too "vitriolic". It is trite to bring up first amendment issues, and that can easily be deflected by a "we make our own policy" statement. However, it seems decidedly unfair to be suspended for speaking my mind. Was a language violation? Was it the fact that I responded to a post that used "pussy" "bullsh*t" and "frig"? Yes I responded to THAT one (some I have chosen to let go) using the same words, except I actually spelled out the full "bulls*it" (edited to conform to SI "rules", LOL) word. Is that any more offensive than "bullsh*t"? If I say "Go stick it up yout mot*&^%^-ing as*&^%ole" is that NOT a violation? Of course it is. It is easy to see what the poster intended but didn t have the guts to spell out completely. The message is still there. I was only responding to the vulgarity I received.
Possibility 2. There is a desire at SI to keep people coming and paying their monthly fees... Daniel Miller and Tokyo Joe, while running their scams, keep thousands of people tuning in to SI. They can not be hassled. They must feel secure on SI because Raging Bull has been wooing Tokyo Joe to move over there and bring his followers with him. You can't very well have someone rocking that boat... Joe and Dan must be kept happy and must be protected at all costs. It means BIG subscriber dollars.
Now I would prefer to think that it is simply a misunderstanding, and there is some nuance or interpretation of the rules that escapes me. However, when I find myself suspended with no explanation, I can not help but think that maybe possibility # 2 may have some merit.
I look forward to your response.
Musicguy ----- What do you think? Do Bob and the other SI admins have an agenda? Is this really about a violation or are they worried that I'll scare business away? Think about it... we who have been here for a while only paid our $125 for a lifetime of this abuse. The new suckers are paying a monthly fee. Who would you rather see happy, me or Tokyo and the Jiz Kid? Go back and read my posts if you have 10 minutes with nothing to do. There is NOTHING there to warrant a suspension, and I have as yet not received an explanation. Careful what you say on SI, if you piss the wrong people off, you get the boot.
I wish I could post this stuff everywhere. This is NOT a free internet society.
