rmbs gets a phenomenal amount of news in obscure publications. that will soon change. rmbs will be in the mainstream press very soon.
it occurs to me periodically, and has been previously well explained by dave that the masses never heard of rambus rdram. they have no idea what it is. they are about to be educated.
surfing, i just read that pc sales in japan were up 90% last week from last year. read that digital tv is about to come on strong with initial usa sales expected in the $25 billion range. all of course using rdram.
as i read about sony and matsushita using rdram in consumer items such as hdtv, games, printers, multi-function devices, etc., etc,;
ti using rambus in switching equipment; the nintendo connection; the mass of tech companies developing rdram production capacity, test equip, rdram enabling devices, rdram in laptops, rdram in PCs, rdram in servers, i am overwhelmed with data all good.
here on the thread, we all tend to concentrate on the rdram in pc market. remember that is only 50% of projected rambus revenues. the other rdram uses, markets, and source of royalties are coming on very very strong, very very quickly. |
