From your post - "Neither have I ever picked up a hitch hiker, and never will.! But I have often thought while driving when I have seen hitch hikers, that maybe I ought to....maybe he has a message for me to give to the world, but then good old common sense, and wisdom kicks in big time, and real fast. My luck, he'd rob me blind, shoot me in the face and then....... vanish....with my car!!!"
A little story from the travails and travels of MSB....
In 1980, I found myself in a position where I had no money, no car, no job, and lived a good piece from where I could possibly get a job. Since it was quite obvious to me that I was in a situation which could become quite worse with each passing day, I decided it was time I pack a few precious belonging and go to a safer place the only way I could afford, afoot.
My good friend dropped me in a community on his way to work. He went one way and I, the other.
I walked a good distance before I got my first ride. All I had on me was the backpack filled with what I wanted to take most and a pack of cigarettes.
I got my first ride after about two miles. It was a woman of all people. I even asked her if she was sure if she wanted to give me a ride as far as she was going provided it was in the direction I was headed.
This woman, took me to the next town, Rogers,AR, took me to lunch, drove me to the next town after that (Bentonville) even though she would have turned back around from Rogers, AR to go back to Hot Springs from which she had come earlier that morning, and then to top it off, gave me $5.
That was the very first time I had ever hitch-hiked in my life, and she was the very first ride I had gotten in my history of hitch-hiking.
I've given many a ride to the wayfaring stranger, took one to dinner, and given money to those who might be in need. And I've taken many a ride until I stopped hitch-hiking '87. But I'll still pull over for somebody in need when they're walking.
And the point....kindness does not fear for its own well being.
Please find this verse for me. 1. "Master, when did we see you hungry and cold?" Jesus - "Whenever you did it for one of the least of them, you did it unto me."

Again you wrote - "Secondly, there are 7 trumpets to be sounded, and at least 4 and more likely 5, have already been sounded...".
I'm assuming you're refering to Rev. 8. From what I read, the catastrophe of each trumpet doesn't seem to relate to anything I can remember happening.
Would you mind giving your thoughts as to what events have ocurred to lead you to believe that 4 or perhaps 5 trumpets have been sounded?

The angel with a message question was the first time I had ever heard anything like it. I suspected that if it were "less than believeable", it would be because the story or one like it had been around. This was the first time I had ever heard it.
Hope your's is and will always be a good day,
