Market share declline not so steep as reported The clone effort has at least stemmed diving market share. Which leads me to one conclusion. Apple should divest itself of its hardware enterprise and concentrate just on software. When you walk in a store, consumer also look at how much software they can buy with wintel vs MacOS machine. Enough said. Apple needs a drastic change. Hey they could even bundle the Newton with each machine they sell. The company needs a marketing lesson badly.
