Let's get a few things straight.

First of all it is a MYTH that US residents or citizens or whatever you want to call them, can't short BB's. I have a retail account and short BB stocks almost daily. No, I will not tell you who I trade with but I assure you it is completely legal. I can also short stocks less than $5., no tricks, just simply put in a short sell order and wait for confirmation of a borrow.

As far as my position on SNMM. I am short somewhere between 100 and 25,000 shares. My exact position is none of your business.

And as far as MLRE, I never traded one share. I was interested in the company because it is local to where I live. For the first week or so it traded, the company did not answer the phone and the only info came from a non-disclosing paid stock tout named steve samblis at fortune marketing. They were running an internet rag called the smallcrapjournal. When I finally got the future address of MLRE and was told of a grand opening for dec 31, by the SI thread, I went for a little ride and found out many of the rumors were FALSE. As of Dec 31, there was no flooring or furniture or anything in the empty building that according to thread starter here on SI, kieko, was to be housing a gala grand opening party with michelle peifer and jerry lewis for New Years Eve. I brought these facts out and immediatly samblis and mlre went into damage control phase. This was a classic pump and dump. That is why the price fell, no other. Stock detective did nothing but report facts about a compay and iits promotor. I would be willing to bet the real reason for the demise in MLRE shareprice has something to do with offshore stock that could still to this day be sold at a profit because it only cost aldare and friends $1 and $2.50/share. Since then MLRE and people affiliated with it have proven to me by various actions that they are an underhanded bunch of individuals. And yes they have had lawyers contact me and threaten me and you see where it got them. If they are ever stupid enough to file a suit against me they not only will lose, but the contersuit and discovery will provide for some very interesting reading and in my opinion, possibly an arrest or two. So Max get off your kick that shorters cost you money. You lost money because you invested in a pump and dump scheme that was designed to sell stock first and work on building a company second.

Any more questions?
