Sony PlayStation doesn't use I2O.

It's the same concept, but they're doing it themselves with an LSI processor, not the i960 or StrongArm. Sony's stated aim is to destroy the PC. They're taking over Apple's role as the main alternative to the PC. See the NY Times article referred to last week.

LSI also supports I2O, so they're on both sides of the fence.
