Tnx for correcting my timeframe. I had forgotten about the TXN/INTC stock coming due and my "after expiration" was to mean "right after expiration". Re IceShark's "forward sales", is it possible that TXN and INTC have been short-selling as much as they can get their hands on, with the intention of simply delivering MU stock whenever they feel like it? If you know you are going to cover your short by delivering the stock rather than buying in the market, it doesn't matter how low it goes. You've pocketed your money near the top (assuming you were reading SI <g>) and any further drop doesn't make you any more cash. Wow, if they've done that, they could realize 30-40 points on tens of millions of shares at some point. That would be some quarterly report! "Earnings this quarter includes a one-time gain of one billion dollars from the sale of 28 million shares of Micron stock."
