Johannes! I bought into this play in July of 96 and have been following it since that time.
I take it that you are refering to the Santa Isabel site when you are
speaking of a huge deposit. I noted the mention of chalcopyrite and
chalcocite in news releases which are main host ores for copper but
the grades so far are so low that production is not economical. imho
International curator has tons of ore grading 2% copper =40LBS * ton.
.025% = .5lb per ton of rock processed. A ton of copper is worth
app. $2200.00 per ton pure in the market place which means the Santa
Isabel deposit would have to process 4000 ton of ore to produce
$2200.00. If i'm missing something here please let me know.
