ORCL is fine, and will continue to do well. What you're reading is just griping and grousing about a good quarter that wasn't "good enough". I'm sick of whisper #'s and the "need" to hit them. It is sort've like expecting a bonus from your company every year.... when you don't get it, you complain the company has ripped you off. Yet it is nothing of the sort. The company doesn't OWE anyone a bonus...that's why it's called a bonus. The same goes for these whisper #'s. ORCL did a GREAT job in a tough quarter. I remember a year ago, the same damn thing happened. They beat the #'s by 3/4 cents, but "revenue is down". That's just BS. Cost cutting to make earnings sets up significantly better quarters down the road.
