Libel/Slander/Defamation - versus a company or versus another poster

Bashing a company's management - the first case of this kind where posters were sued was up in Canada and it was reported in the Globe & Mail if I rem correct. This occured I think about a year ago I think and Yahoo provided the poster's names to authorities. I believe the company in question was Corel. No time to go search, but I rem posting to a few people to watch what they say in light of that article.

Bashing other posters - jabs, name calling, etc. Where is the line here?

If there is truly something to a poster's stance, I would assume supporting info could be provided, otherwise the post has little substance, imo.
