It appears what you are saying then is that it was not important to Castle Creek whether Valence fails or not. Why do you suppose they decided then to lend to Valence and the Boston Celtics and not to some companies they investigated and were fairly certain would fail?

Why also do you believe they extended their Jan 27 date to July and relaxed their terms? Remember Lev stated during the SM that CC relaxed their terms otherwise Valence would not have accepted any more money from them, and Castle Creek representatives were present when he said this.
