ORCL is controlled by large institutions and funds. They have their own internal analysts and don't care much what analyst xyz at a brokerage says. The sell side guys usually just suck up to companies in order to get investment banking business.

The simple answer is the stock dropped because revenues were very light. Analysts simply pointed out the obvious and the stock would have dropped regardless of what they said anyway.
