One thing is for sure-nobody knows just how big the pipe or source conduit is at this point. If found it will be an underground mining operation almost for certain.
There could be a few billion dollars worth of diamonds in the pipe-then again there might not be. Taking a feew stabs at it is on the agenda and I am glad that it is.
I have seen the movie "How Much Land Does a Man Need" and would definitely concur with the principle, but at this point we will take all the diamonds that we can find-no doubt about it.
I understand that the drills will sweep west to east testing the dyke-cone sheet all the way to the East side of the Lake. This will prove up tonnage and add to the base of knowledge about the deposit.
If in the process they zero in on the source(s) and tag a pipe or two, I will not be disappointed in the least.
As far as I am concerned, as long as things proceed along as planned we have a reasonably sized and profitable mine in the bag. Before we actually get started it would be helpful to know whether it is 1000, 5000, or 10000 tonnes per day.
Some pipes are small and some are huge. Many pipes which came to surface have lost the largest and best part to erosion. If we have a blind pipe or pipes under the lake, chances are it would be worth knowing about.
And if it was there and you drilled 200 meters away, but would not move the drill over to folow up, what would people think?
Hopefully we will have our cake with ice-ing on it too.
Regards
