Sure, satellite will be valuable in remote areas (i.e. most of the world). But bandwidth is
limited on the transponders and thus prices will be relatively high. High frequency
wireless at 24, 28, and 38 gig (Teligent, Winstar, Nextlink) will be cheaper and far more
readily deployable than fiber or coax in some 975 thousand business buildings now
served only by $2K per month T-1s and such.
