Hey, no thanks are in order as this is essentially my thread established jointly with Lars. And I will take your bet. After all, it is only one penny <g>.

Seriously, I believe in the ability of regular posters on this thread to exercise posting restraint about Clinton and anything else for that matter. They realize that posting here involves a price. The price is posting restraint; the reward is a more focused discussion. I have put a stop to the Clinton banter before when it lacked market relevance as all will attest. I would have done so again if I were around this last time around. And so you made your point on that subject.

I have just finished reviewing many of the posts and was astounded to read that you described Truman Bradley as an "arrogant idiot." I do not know why you would write such a thing. It was rude and tasteless and antagonized most of the people here. Name calling begets more name calling (as DD's posts to you show) and it ruins the thread. Moreover, such a statement is a clear violation of the SI terms of use as well as the charter for this thread as it is clearly "hit-and-run" drivel.

Normally, I would just rule for a long suspension but this post has inspired such an outcry from posters here and has put this thread into such chaos that I would ask that you to leave voluntarily and permanently on your own terms. My goodness, now we have people like Mr. BSL who has never posted here before responding to you on Clinton on this thread after I banned it. I know you are not responsible for his actions. Maybe he bookmarked you from a previous life. But the results are the same as far as I am concerned. So I am appealing to your sense of decency and your respect for our privacy to put this thread behind you and move on at the request of the founders and, I believe, most if not all the posters here. The original Brinker thread is still open for business <g>. Thank you.
