WWF vs. WCW

Notice what happens on Monday nights when WCW and WWF both air?

7PM
''WWF Wrestling'' (Sunday, 7 p.m.), USA, 3.9, 3.83 million homes.

8PM
''WCW Monday Nitro Live!'' (Monday, 8 p.m.), TNT, 3.9, 3.88 million homes.

9PM
''WWF Wrestling'' (Monday, 9 p.m.), USA, 4.8, 4.8 million homes
''WCW Monday Nitro Live!'' (Monday, 9 p.m.), TNT, 2.8, 2.81 million homes.

10PM
''WWF Wrestling'' (Monday, 10 p.m.), USA, 4.8, 4.72 million homes.
''WCW Monday Nitro Live!'' (Monday, 10 p.m.), TNT, 3.0, 3.01 million homes.

There is a BIG difference in the viewing audience between WWF and WCW!!! Also, you can almost see how WWF warms up the audience at 7PM, then WCW "borrows" them for an hour at 8PM, before WWF steamrolls WCW for the following 2 hours. In fact, look at the drop in ratings for WCW between the 8PM and 9PM hour, when 1 million homes LEAVE the programming (no doubt for WWF).

The other thing is this : there are 7.73 MILLION homes watching wrestling at 10PM on Monday night!!! That is an incredible amount of viewing, and proves conclusively the wrestling is hot hot hot.

Remain patient, WWF is going to be HUGE for THQI.

Regards, JB
