How does this sound? INTC gives MU another 500 million for more stock, to make sure it has the economic base to continue full strength? It would bolster the stock, even if TI did sell - but dilute it even more, and give INTC a large share of MU. This way they could "influence" the direction of the company. Along with the shares a few board seats are offers too?

This is a frightening thought for MU and their battle to remain "independent." But then most of the people who fought to keep MU from a position where this might happen are not longer there; and the BOD is not acting as a fully function governing board right now.

Just a theory, but one that is not that far fetched.
