This helps fit my guess that we'll see a load of Purple and Blue right before quarter-end: macintouch.com "Other MacInTouch sources offered this explanation for the mystery: Apple reportedly has moved production for all iMacs sold in the U.S. to a Mexican manufacturing plant and is making a special production run solely for the two most popular colors: blue and purple." There is something about those two colors, isn't there? Two people I know who aren't heavy users at all went with the Grape for $200 (more) pretty much based on color alone. The bigger hard drive was very secondary. Meanwhile, there've been some good Costco channel checks on the AOL MF AAPL board. Apparently, the rev Bs just fly out of Costco at $899.
