Bell Atlantic also said they were filing for a lower tariff in answer to the question of how AOL would be able to offer $42 a month DSL but they did not say how much it would cost AOL or how many lines they would have to commit to. I assume AOL must have a pretty good idea since they are talking $42.

Did US West mention a number?
