Vendit, isn't the buyout of Netscape already factored in the present share price of AOL?

I'm not so sure that the merger was a given in everyone's mind and I look at the fact that the merger news was released after the market closed on Friday as the catalysis to propel AOL past the $100 range early on Monday.

Shares of America Online (AOL) and Netscape Communications (NSCP) may be in the spotlight Monday on news that the U.S. Justice Department has cleared AOL's plans to acquire Netscape and enter into a strategic alliance with Sun Microsystems (SUNW). AOL shares rose 5/16 to 96 1/8, and Netscape shares added 1/4 to 84 7/8 Friday. Sun shares dropped 5 3/16 to 103 11/16 ahead of the news.</b?
