Traders should recognize that the Barron's broker ratings are only meaningful to those doing position, or swing, trading. Daytraders need to select a system that is not browser based.

Watley Ultimate Trader, MBT, JPR, Cybertrader, Polartrading - these are the types of firms that daytraders need to choose from.

I personally chose Watley. Very courteous and available customer service, no nonsense, lightning executions, after hours, many ECN's.
A very established firm as well. Founded in 1958.
