He is right, if it screams in the aftermarket it isn't worth buying (screams = >$53/share). Long-term, most of the internet companies aren't good investments. They are trades with a great deal of risk. That said this company has a lot that looks right. It has first rate venture backers, well connected board members, a very potential market segment (assuming that mall shopping is not primarily recreational for most women) and good underwriters.

But that doesn't guarantee success. Just remember "price counts," don't over pay and don't fall in love. Nobody knows if this will be a big player or a big failure next year-even Perkins doesn't. So, don't bet the ranch but don't avoid it if the aftermarket price isn't too extreme.
