I am not going to say someday WOW! I could of bought INPR for under $5 I may say "I lost all of $5 in INPR" but that's a risk I am willing to take at this juncture!

$5 is a great starting point doubling up on further pull backs

INPR has been under 5 before; previously (last time) it was under 5, I was certain it was a good buy. It was, of course, at that time, and I bought it. Then, I watched it progress, pretty much as I had expected until it just touched on 12 (I think). On that fatefull day, Del declared INPR would buy VSGN. Crap. This dog has been in the tank ever since. It is a dog because management has made it a dog.

Borland has had a loyal following since its inception. Why? Because the tools have been superior. Period. Most developers will migrate to MSFT, not because their tools are good (they aren't) but because their marketing is. But those who are paying attention have acknowledged Borland's leadership in tools technology for many years. Del has abandoned that following.

I think the move to the enterprise makes perfect sense. But you don't walk away from a loyal customer base the way he did. And the name change -- who's idea was that? Talk about dumb.

I don't know if Del should go. It could be this is just taking longer than expected -- after all, the changes he proposed over two years were pretty radical. But if the company can't show some signs of life soon, it is really going to begin to affect customers concerns over viability.

You have to wonder what would have happened had Borland stayed Borland and VSGN stayed VSGN. Borland was looking really good when the VSGN deal hit -- not from an earnings perspective -- but they appeared focused. With VSGN came total disarray.
