That would be a tough sell, so to speak, before the INTC BOD, for both reasons are no longer as good as they used to be.

Even though they can't get a "task force" into MU (if that is indeed the case) after giving them enough money to make the difference between making payroll and forcing layoffs down the road, put *another* $500M into these ingrates to try to influence them? At least the first time they wrote that big check, they didn't know that MU would take the money and run.

And who wants *more* of a percentage of a company that thumbs its nose at its major benefactors? And six months into what is, as reported by every single one of the relevant players, a major slow-down in PC sales, where MU makes most of its sales.
