High Speed Internet Access and Service
JetStream connects you to our internet pipe at blazing speeds. Up to 100 times faster than dialup internet access, JetStream uses state of the art technology developed locally in Salmon Arm by WaveRider Communications Inc.
In addition to giving you a super fast connection to the Internet, JetStream also includes the following services with our High Speed Wireless Service.
Unlimited Online Time
Your connection to the internet is 100% live. There are no busy signals, no dialing in, no telephone wires, and no cablevision wires. JetStream's High Speed Wireless Service offers you connectivity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Unlimited Online Users
Whether your office has two employees or 200, it doesn't matter. JetStream's High Speed Wireless Service connects to your Local Area Network, providing Internet Access to all of your employees. JetStream also offers an optional firewall service to restrict individual employees, or groups of employees from certain internet services.
Free Domain Registration
In addition to providing your company with our High Speed Wireless Service, JetStream will register you're company's domain name for you, giving your organization a unique and meaningful name on the internet. For example, JetStream.bc.ca, or JetStream.ca (depending on your organization)
Virtual Corporate Website
To accompany your unique Internet Domain Name, JetStream also bundles a Virtual Corporate Website with our High Speed Edition. Your customers will be able to visit your site at yourcompany.bc.ca. Each Corporate Website includes an FTP site as well. Together, we include 50 MB of storage space. JetStream will also place a link on our business directory page directly to your new website.
30 Free Email Accounts

WaveRider Communications' NCL135
JetStream delivers our High Speed Wireless Service to customers in our service area using the WaveRider NCL135 High Speed Wireless Bridge. Unlike Cable Internet Access where users share the same physical wire like a large local area network, wireless access provides a totally secure connection to the internet. Cable Subscribers can easily see the contents of other cable subscribers hard disk drives, whereas there are no wires in wireless internet access!! Each wireless link is not only encrypted by frequency hopping spread spectrum, data across the link is also scrambled so that only the intended recipients are able to decypher the contents.
WaveRider's NCL135 is a leader in highspeed wireless bridging equipment. By combining a fully integrated router and SNMP management system directly into the NCL135, JetStream is able to easily and effectively monitor and control all aspects of data and wireless traffic travelling through the NCL135. This flexibility and control means a higher degree of reliability and functionality for our customers.
Omega Communications Ltd.
Serving the Okanagan Valley since 1976, Omega Communications Ltd are the interior's leader in radio equipment installations and service. Omega's knowledgeable staff will visit your office, perform the necessary site tests, and install the WaveRider NCL135 at your location, as well as a small, discrete antenna on your rooftop. In addition, Omega will visit your office twice a year for a routine check-up and maintenance call to ensure your equipment is in top-notch condition.
