corporate faxing is done dedicated, which is safe for signed documents and the like.

efax is internet based, which opens up a possible security hole and I know these would raise red flags in corporate information system departments.

The same reason a corporation might not use use Yahoo or other free e-mail services for their own internal e-mail requirements.

This service is sometimes compared to Hot Mail when it first started. And I don't think Hot Mail customers were corporations, but I do think people in corporations had Hot Mail accounts to get around the limitations on their corporate accounts. Unfortunately, I don't see this dynamic present in fax use.
